(International version is at the bottom)

Cliff Fang

Weekly Growth 3-2-1 Latest Research

(International version is at the bottom)

Cliff Fang

Happy 3-2-1 Thursday!

Latest Quantum Growth research: this week’s 3 reflections, 2 quotes, and 1 question:

3 My Reflections

1.

Fitness builds strength by tearing muscle fibers in a controlled, non-damaging way so they can repair and grow back stronger.

Similarly, the best mental and practical education comes from non-fatal mistakes and stumbles that lead to accelerated growth.

2.

What is an options passive-income system builder? Are they a hedger, speculator, or arbitrageur from the textbook categories?

90% hedging + 10% arbitrage (optimizing term structures and instruments under risk considerations)

Goal of an options passive-income system: to build a stable, predictable cash flow, not overnight windfalls.

Means to achieve it:

(1) Selling put options to collect premiums, buying spot at the target price if assigned (hedging nature).

(2) Selling call options on existing holdings to earn extra premiums (hedging nature).

(3) In rare cases, using spreads to lock in mispricings between options (arbitrage nature), though this is usually supplementary rather than primary.

In short: an options passive-income builder is a hybrid between hedger and arbitrageur, leaning much more toward the hedger while occasionally borrowing arbitrage thinking.

3.

(1) Your unique personal experiences

(2) The interests, knowledge, and insights you developed through them

(3) The problems you solved, the confusions you resolved, the views you transformed

These three factors × multiply into the most unique, scarce, and influential “product” of the information age—or the thing the new world most urgently wants from you.

It unbelievably satisfies an impossible triangle:

scarce, hugely valuable, and something everyone possesses.

3.5.

“In the degenerate age to come, if anyone hears these lines without fear or dread and explains them to others, even if it is just four lines of verse, their merit surpasses [all others].”

Much of our unhappiness, dissatisfaction, and sense of lack comes from focusing too much on ourselves (extracting from the world) and too little on output (caring about others’ benefit). This creates a closed-off state of excessive benchmarking and self-reference.

Conversely, when you shift toward output, providing value to others, you enter a larger, more open field of energy—less trapped in your own limits, and more able to access a steady, renewing sense of motivation and fulfillment.

Doing this bit by bit, over and over, seems to lead to greater and greater freedom.

2 Others’ Wisdom

1.

“Meaning comes from contributing to the success of others and the larger system.”

— Principles, Ray Dalio

“Wealth is a byproduct of solving problems for others.

The best investment is developing the ability to be valuable to others.”

— The Almanack of Naval Ravikant

2.

“Real creativity comes from a love for others—a desire to make their lives better through your inventions.”

— Steve Jobs’ speech

1 Question for You

When you turn your heart toward benefiting others, does it mean losing a lot of personal gain? Or does it lead to true liberation and greater achievement?
